比较感恩节和中秋节

First thing... wonderful menus and shopping lists! I enjoy reading it.
首先shǒu​xiān,你们的感恩节购物单和菜单,棒极了!( bàng​jí​le Excellent)

OK, we have studied the mid-autumn festival中秋节 (remember the story of the Moon Lady Chang-e嫦娥 and moon cakes, right?) and we have just finished studying Thanksgiving with the story about the Indians.
So, today's homework is to compare the two holiday festivals and write down what you think is similar and different between the two. For example:

中秋节是农历 (nóng​lì)八月十五日, 感恩节是十一月的第四个星期四,时间不一样
中秋节的故事是嫦娥Cháng​’é 飞到月亮,变成(biàn​chéng)月姑娘 (gū​niang)
感恩节是英国人来到美国,印地安人帮住他们种玉米马铃薯,让英国人的生活变好
还有过中秋节的时候,中国人吃月饼,过感恩节的时候,美国人吃火鸡.

  1. 棒极了    super / excellent
  2. 开心极了  to have a great time
  3. 漂亮极了  extremely pretty
