Something is about to happen......

We have studied the grammar points about how to work out the tenses in a Chinese sentence since Chinese doesn't change the tense. Here is a summary:
  1. Present  tense (現在式) - statement or 在
  2. Past tense (过去式) - V+ 了, V+ 过,  result of complement, or  time word indicating the past or adverbial word  剛剛, 剛才,最近, 已经
  3. Future tense (未來式): 要...了, 就要 ----了, 快要----了, 马上就....  了                                        or Verb 会,將,想, 要,  将jiāng will , 打算dǎ​suàn - to plan,   准备zhǔn​bèi​ - to prepare, 计画jì​huà - to plan
