I'm really, really, really busy at school these days ..... 我忙死了

This is what we covered today in Class about the grammar structure for 

expressing an extreme situation. Usually, Chinese people don't like to 

use word associated with "death" but in these cases they do. 

今天在课堂上,我们学习了"形容词+死了" 这个语法.一般来说,( In general) 
中国人不喜欢用跟"死"有关的词 ,但是在这个句型 " 形容词+  死了"例外. 

这个句型,也可以 用"  动词+  死了"  For example:

昨天我帮邻居看小孩, 一个三岁, 一个五岁. 他们太调皮搗蛋, 我真是 烦死了!

What is the difference between this International Student's life and your own life?

We have been studying the unit for "School life" for the past two weeks. We covered every day activities and school subjects such as History, English, Math and so on. We also learned how to describe the activity in our daily lives.


Read the article about an international student in China and write down three things that are either the same or different from your daily activities. Use the grammar points as follows:

1. 每(měi)…… 都(dōu)……
2. 一边(yì biān)……一边(yì biān)……
3. 除了(chú le)……还(hái)……
4. 有时候,,,,,,  有时候
5.  ----以后
6. 或者  ( either, or)
