Something is about to happen......

We have studied the grammar points about how to work out the tenses in a Chinese sentence since Chinese doesn't change the tense. Here is a summary:

1. Present  tense (現在式) - statement or 在
2. Past tense (过去式) - V+ 了, V+ 过,  result of complement, or  time word indicating the past or adverbial word  剛剛, 剛才,最近, 已经
3. Future tense (未來式): 要...了, 就要 ----了, 快要----了, 马上就....  了                                        or Verb 会,將,想, 要,  将jiāng will , 打算dǎ​suàn - to plan,   准备zhǔn​bèi​ - to prepare, 计画jì​huà - to plan  

 In this chapter we have focused on the future tense. Here a slides that show this grammar structure. 

For your homework tonight, write down an event that are likely to happen in the future in your life to show your understanding of the future tense. For example
